HerMentor
HerMentor is a pioneering mentorship initiative for women in West Bank and East Jerusalem. Developed under the Forsah Technical and Vocational Education Training (Forsah TVET) program, HerMentor aims to cultivate a more sustainable and fair society by empowering women through mentorship.
Female leaders of Palestinian economy are welcome to join the program to become certified mentors, after which HerMentor will strategically match mentors with their mentees, students, to drive meaningful growth and development.

About the program
HerMentor is a mentorship initiative implemented by Business Women Forum within the Forsah Technical and Vocational Education and Training program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) implemented by International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX) and its partners in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Forsah TVET program is a five-year program working to enable TVET institutions in the West Bank and East Jerusalem to meet labor market demands and provide Palestinians with meaningful, well-paying employment and income-generating opportunities.
HerMentor program aims to support technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institutions to better prepare Palestinian graduates for the labor market, and to productively engage in local and regional economies.
Who is HerMentor program for
- Accomplished female leaders or entrepreneurs, with a minimum 5 years’ experience;
- Highly motivated individuals who show commitment to bring about positive change, and who can demonstrate their leadership potential and/or capability, willing to share networks;
- Able to join 32 hours of advanced training and coaching to become an inspiring mentor;
- Able to mentor 2-3 TVET students over 6 months (6 hours per month with biweekly meetings with each mentee);
- Fluent in Arabic.
By the end of HerMentor program, you will have
- Certificate of program completion, which enables you to apply for accredited certification;
- Strong relationships with Palestinian youth and the TVET sector;
- Enhanced mentorship and leadership skills, knowledge in mentoring processes, confidence to inspire others;
