About NUWA - Women Supporting Women
The “NUWA – Women Supporting Women” project is a strategic initiative implemented by the Business Women Forum, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), aiming to enhance the economic and leadership empowerment of women-led enterprises in Palestine, particularly in the West Bank, considering the economic, political, and market challenges that limit the growth and sustainability of these businesses. The project adopts a holistic approach based on structured mentoring, capacity building, technical support, and professional networking, thereby expanding access to knowledge, learning, and communication opportunities, and strengthening the resilience and advancement of women entrepreneurs within a changing economic environment.
