إطلاق مشروع Digital HERizon لتعزيز مهارات النساء في الذكاء الاصطناعي والاقتصاد الرقمي

نظّم منتدى سيدات الأعمال – فلسطين الجلسة التعريفية لمشروع Digital HERizon: Advancing Women’s Digital Skills in AI and Economic Opportunities، الممول من برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP)، والمنفذ من قبل المنتدى من خلال شبكة سيدات الأعمال في الذكاء الاصطناعي والتكنولوجيا، بالشراكة مع وزارة العمل الفلسطينية.

وشكّلت الجلسة الانطلاقة الرسمية للمشروع، حيث تم تعريف المشاركات بأهداف البرنامج ومراحله ومسارات الدعم في الذكاء الاصطناعي والمهارات الرقمية، والتوجيه المهني، والجاهزية لسوق العمل، والعمل الحر والعمل عن بُعد، وريادة الأعمال والتحول الرقمي.

وافتتحت الجلسة المهندسة شيرين الشلة، رئيس مجلس إدارة المنتدى، مؤكدة أهمية الاستثمار في مهارات النساء وربطها بالفرص المهنية والاقتصادية المستدامة. كما أكدت المهندسة ربى الأدهم ممثلة UNDP أهمية تحويل المهارات المكتسبة إلى فرص عملية، فيما شددت الأستاذة دانا حسن والأستاذة جيني داهو ممثلتا وزارة العمل الفلسطينية على أهمية مواءمة مهارات الشابات مع احتياجات سوق العمل وتعزيز جاهزيتهن للفرص المتاحة.

وتضمنت الجلسة مساحة تفاعلية للتعارف والنقاش بين المشاركات والمرشدات، والتعرف إلى تطلعاتهن واهتماماتهن المهنية، والإجابة عن استفساراتهن، إلى جانب توضيح المراحل والأنشطة المقبلة ومتطلبات المشاركة في البرنامج.

ويأتي إطلاق البرنامج بعد عملية اختيار تنافسية استقبلت 254 طلباً، وصولاً إلى اختيار المشاركات النهائيات. كما قدمت الدكتورة منى الضميدي، المستشارة الرئيسية للمشروع، عرضاً حول رحلة المشاركات ومكونات البرنامج والنتائج المتوقعة.

Digital HERizon Project Launched to Advance Women's Skills in AI and the Digital Economy

The Business Women Forum – Palestine (BWF) held the orientation session for the Digital HERizon: Advancing Women's Digital Skills in AI and Economic Opportunities project, funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and implemented by BWF through its Business Women in AI and Technology Network, in partnership with the Palestinian Ministry of Labour.

The session marked the official launch of the project, introducing participants to the program's objectives, implementation phases, and support pathways in artificial intelligence, digital skills, career guidance, workforce readiness, freelancing and remote work, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.

The session was opened by Eng. Shireen Shelleh, Chairwoman of the Business Women Forum – Palestine, who emphasized the importance of investing in women's skills and connecting them with sustainable professional and economic opportunities. Eng. Ruba Al-Adham, representing UNDP, highlighted the importance of translating newly acquired skills into tangible employment and business opportunities. Ms. Dana Hassan and Ms. Jenny Daho, representing the Palestinian Ministry of Labour, underscored the importance of aligning young women's skills with labor market needs and strengthening their readiness for emerging opportunities.

The event also featured an interactive networking session, allowing participants and mentors to get acquainted, discuss participants' professional aspirations and interests, address their questions, and provide an overview of the program's upcoming phases, activities, and participation requirements.

The program follows a competitive selection process that attracted 254 applications, from which the final cohort of participants was selected. Dr. Mona Demaidi, the project's Lead Consultant and Technical Lead, presented the participants' learning journey, the program's key components, and its expected outcomes.
