The Business Women Forum (BWF) is  a leading National Non-profit organization established in 2006, with a mission to  strengthen the role of businesswomen in the Palestinian economy and society through: building the capacities and skills of businesswomen and women entrepreneurs, advocating their role, establishing networks and coalitions, and contributing in reducing the barriers faced by women.”
BWF established  its  Business Development Center (BDC) in 2009 as one stop shop. Which aims to enable female entrepreneurs to start and develop their businesses, in addition,  build up their competitive advantage, emerge new markets.


It is an exciting time for BWF, as it is evolving to an organization that is more relevant and accountable to the people we support. As such, the programs manager is a key role that will help enable, drive and transform approaches and strategies to be more innovative programs and business driven.

BWF seeks experienced and committed professional for the following position, located in Ramallah.

Programs Manager: The Programs Manager is responsible for overall planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all programs in accordance with the evolved vision and strategy of BWF. This position reports directly to the Executive Director.

Programs Manager duties and responsibilities:


• Plan the delivery of the all BWF programs, its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization.
• Design, and develop new initiatives and programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
• Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program.
• Lead the development of program concepts and document to assist in the fund raising efforts for new initiatives.
• Coordinate with the Executive Director to design new programs and strategies for the organization, ensuring high levels of participation of BWF, BDC members, and other stakeholders.
• Routine monitoring and evaluation of all stages of the programs.
• Proactively provide capacity building, mentoring and coaching for the team, as well as providing feedback when needed.
• Ensure adequate reporting in line with BWF, donor documentation, and learning requirements.
• Reviewing team reports, giving feedback and support to team to achieve adequate quality.
• Identify and obtain any support and advice required for the management, planning and control of the programs.
• Manage the financial resources for achieving results in line with the outputs and activities outlined in the program document and annual work plan.
• Proactively manage changes in programs scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Develop communications tools such as website input, project presentations etc…related to the programs
• Enhance media coverage and public relations of the program.
• Support the implementation of BWF strategic Planning.
• Manage risks, and ensure implementation of corrective actions is taken as results of M&E findings.
• Compile and review quarterly and semiannual program reports (financial and narrative reports) handed by Program Managers, to prepare the final reports.

Qualifications:


• University degree in Business Administration or related fields, (MBA degree is preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in program management.
• Innovative and business oriented.
• Excellent communication skills, working with local communities, donors, NGOs, the private sector, etc.
• In-depth understanding and experience of business development and entrepreneurship in Palestine- essential.
• Being aware and sensitive of gender equity and diversity is a must.
• Excellent, leadership skills and a team player.
•  Professional written and oral communication skills (Arabic & English).
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet functions).
